Ok, the title is a little bit of a lie. I’m not completely finished. I haven’t plotted out the end hallway… But I figured I will let it come to me when I get to that stage. That’s worked so far.

The hallways took form according to my sketch. Building the walls and doors were easy as pie. The only annoying part was positioning the portaits in a unique way on every wall, careful not to have two duplicates next to each other.
I have finished making objects! NEXT UP, finishing the animatic, then onto animating!

Made the frames for the creepy portraits today. Decided it would be easier to do very simple geometry and then normal map a texture on it. I used the NVIDIA Normal Map Filter for Photoshop for the texture, which I remembered using a couple of years ago in preproduction (I think). These frames will work well.

Had to go back and modify the torso to incorporate the new part of the story. Easy as pie. But had to paint the torso weights again because the polygon count had changed. I’m so sick of painting weightssssss.

You might remember, there was a couple parts of the story that were uncompleted. I have figured out what to do in those parts.
She is going to touch a scar that she has on her left side and she’ll pry it open. Goo will ooze out and interwine, thats where it flashes to white.
